River Marchers met Mr. Popatrao Pawar at village Hiware Bazar , which is close to Ralegan Siddhi,  He is the Executive Director of Maharashtra State Government’s Model Village programme. 

He replicated the Shri Anna Hazare model and converted all the villages in Hiware bazaar area into model villages bringing in a lot of prosperity, literacy and immense job opportunities to the local youth.  River Marcher met Mr. Pawar and explained our mission of saving rivers and sought his support He appreciated the great work being done by River March .We got the opportunity to experience the great job being done by him to change the face of all the villages in the surrounding areas.
