In July 2018 Mr. R.K. Bajaj, anchor of the famous R.K. Bajaj News channel visited Sanjay Gandhi National Park along with his team and filmed the entire journey of Dahisar river from its source in the hills of Kanheri caves right up to the mangroves. He highlighted the clean state of the river until it is in the Park and the immense pollution once it reaches the city limits.
