From 2016 River March has already taken on the programme of creating awareness among Ganpati Mandals in Borivali Dahisar area to celebrate the festival in an eco friendly manner. Marathi Newspaper Sakal has now approached River March to associate with us in visiting Ganpati Mandals to create awareness about the same.

 

Now along with the team of Sakal newspapers River Marchers are continuing the task of spreading awareness on celebrating the festival in an eco friendly manner  by minimizing the use of plastics in decorations, in avoiding the use of plastic plates, cups and spoons. Informing the organizers on the proper disposal of used flowers .
