In April 2015, a press conference was held in the MCGM head quarters  where Dr. Anjali Pant, the Environmental specialist presented the option of Bioremediation as a viable option for cleaning the river. In May 2015 water samples from 10 locations of Dahisar river were sent to Government laboratories for testing.  They were found highly polluted 

From August to September 2016 Exhibitions with 3D model of Dahisar river and interactions with Community and School children were held in the MCGM R North Ward office as well as many schools like Mary Immaculate Girls High School, JBCN International, Vidya Mandir, GH School, TCS office, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar School
